Aside from cinematographer Markus A Ljungberg’s efforts, every attempt from the other departments appears unprofessional at best and negligent at worst, making the picture almost unwatchable.

However, since the film lacks the means to create that world, the spectator never sees it and only hears about it. When you can’t even deliver on your premise’s promise, it’s time to rethink your whole film’s tale. The screenplay has a lot of hands on it, but every scenario, set-up, joke, and piece of speech sounds forced and clunky.

This might be due to the fact that the film was translated from his native Swedish, resulting in every performer speaking in their second language rather than their home tongue. The objective is that the tale does not inform the audience anything and does not engage them in any way. The ambition quickly gives way to sloth, and the film’s 87 minutes are virtually entirely devoid of character or story development.

Action movies, on the other hand, don’t require a terrific story or outstanding characters to be entertaining, do they? They can overcome these issues by offering a succession of incredible action scenes that will pique consumers’ interest in seeing what the directors will show next. Last Man Down, sadly, fails in this respect as well.

But how do you do it? Well, there’s a major issue with the film and the actors that appear in it. They’re all awful performers who can’t deliver a line without sounding weird for the life of them. Stisen is the worst of them all, and it’s incredible that he was cast in the film’s primary role. The actor doesn’t seem to be experiencing anything, and he might be a robot for all we know.

Stisen is a bodybuilder with an incredible physique, but he is not a fighter, and his motions are lethargic and sluggish. It’s possible that the choreography is one of the worst instances of action choreography ever seen on television. The majority of the action is limited to a few kicks and punches, followed by some fairly generic gunplay. The movie, which is meant to be a spectacular action flick, ends up seeming more like an inside joke from its creators.

The remainder of the cast does not fare much better. If your actors’ delivery seems like they’re reading from note cards outside of the frame of the camera, you’ve got an issue with your film. Every single one of these performers exudes machismo, which generates a sense of anticipation. We’re going to witness something equivalent to Commando or Predator, according to the film.
