Blue Period is a manga about adolescence that first debuted in 2017. The manga series, written by Tsubasa Yamaguchi, is currently active, with 11 volumes released as of this writing. This novel about a high school student’s emotional issues proved so popular that it was adapted into a 12-episode anime series in 2021. Fans have been curious about the second season of Blue Period since the anime never adapted the whole tale, and we’re going to tell you all you need to know about it.

Blue Period has not been officially renewed for a second season as of January 2022. Nonetheless, given that the manga is still continuing and that the anime has only adapted a fraction of it, as well as the fact that the program was a Netflix hit, we believe it is a viable contender for renewal. At this moment, we just do not have any official information.

Considering all of this, the second season of Blue Period is most likely a year away, but we don’t expect it to air until 2023.

Blue Period features a high school student named Yatora Yaguchi, who is an excellent student who spends his nights in Shibuya with his friends watching football. But he has no idea what he wants to do after school. He got engaged in an assignment for art class out of curiosity and was surprisingly appreciated, even by his buddies.

Yatora’s interest in the art club grows as a result of his interactions with it, and he finally joins. For the first time, he becomes enthusiastic about anything, notices how excellent the other members of the club are, and aspires to be better. He asks around about which art schools are available and learns about the difficulty of the tests and the level of competition.

Yatora can only apply for the state Tky Geijutsu Daigaku since his parents cannot pay tuition. During the holidays, he completes all of the chores allocated to him by the club’s president. He then goes a preparation school for art college examinations in the winter with Yuka from his class, where he meets many outstanding young people with the same objective as him for the first time.

Season 2 cast of Blue Period

The cast of Blue Period would most likely stay basically the same for a prospective season two, primarily since we know that the bulk of the important characters return later in the tale, and it’s not a show with a lot of deaths or anything. This information is currently unavailable. Season one of Blue Period featured 11 episodes, and given how current anime works, we expect a new season to have around the same number of episodes, perhaps 11 or 12. Because it is uncommon for current anime to have a large(r) number of episodes, we anticipate that this will stay the same.

Where can I see the second season of Blue Period?

Blue Period’s first season aired on JNN’s MBS and TBS networks in Japan. It was then licensed and streamed globally on Netflix, which leads us to believe that the same will happen with season two. If a second season is made, it will most likely be televised in Japan before being made available on one or more streaming sites.
