Vito Gesualdi, a YouTube star known for his “fake, giant pile of garbage” videos, was reportedly involved in a walkout protest after he made disparaging remarks about Netflix. His comments were caught on camera and posted to Twitter.
YouTuber Vito Gesualdi Embroiled in Netflix Walkout Protest: “Fake, Giant Pile of Garbage”
Trending
YouTuber Vito Gesualdi got involved in controversy when attending a demonstration at Netflix against Dave Chappelle’s new comedy special, as furious protestors became violent.
While the majority of the walkout was made up of “activist protesters,” some Netflix workers were criticizing the CEO’s reaction to criticism from trans individuals upset by the program.
Vito carried a banner that said, “We like Dave,” during the demonstration. Dick Masterson, his co-host, was also carrying a placard that said “Dave is Funny” and “We Like Jokes.”
Due to a “copyright” claim, the original video on Twitter has been deleted; nevertheless, Vito has posted footage to his own YouTube channel with his version of the incident.
He can be heard shouting, “We like jokes, jokes are hilarious,” and then yelling, “I like Dave, I like him, I enjoy his jokes” in the video. Protesters then started continuously shouting “trans lives matter.”
In the now-deleted video, Vito says that a guy who claims to be a Netflix writer approached him as he was carrying the sign and took it from him, damaging it. Vito, on the other hand, was still clutching the sign’s stick, and it was at this point that the protestor – and Netflix writer – placed Vito in risk by screaming to the crowd, “He’s got a weapon, he’s got a weapon!”
“You’ve got a weapon, man, move back,” a person approached Vito with their hands up, forcing him to walk away from the throng. He then let go of the stick.
“I’m simply here to tell that jokes are hilarious, folks,” the now-weaponless Vito yelled. As he speaks, a crazy activist approaches him, swinging a tambourine and screaming, “Repent motherf***er,” over and over again.
Vito’s video depicts how the mainstream media reported the incident, making it seem as though he was inciting violent confrontations. He goes on to claim that a guy pushed his co-host Dick, and that he was physically attacked and wounded as a result of it.
Unreal. Several individuals are slamming my head against a concrete ball in front of @Netflix HQ during a protest they sponsored. As I go towards the rock, I’m still holding my placard “DAVE IS FUNNY” with both hands doing nothing. @mabramsonphoto took the photo and wrote the caption. https://t.co/ahTc8wZrKp pic.twitter.com/am9Xdi9kbX

On two different times during the walkout, trans activists and protesters attacked Vito and his co-host with violence.
Masterson was also transported to the hospital following the incident, according to Gesualdi.
It’s worth mentioning that my co-host Dick Masterson is now in the hospital receiving a CT scan after being hit in the head by these “peaceful protesters” who slammed his head into a concrete planter. https://t.co/AOzMEuIEkM

The issue drew the attention of several well-known YouTube celebrities. “I’m fully on team Bearded Hat Guy,” Dave Rubin remarked.

The Quartering had this to say about it:
There’s no denying it. He was attempting to murder @VitoGesualdi when he shouted “he has a weapon” at the Netflix protest. I realize Vito has done some things we don’t agree with, but peaceful protest must be protected, and many were attempting to harm him.

We should all agree that the right to peaceful protest should not be violated, and that activists and other protesters crossed the line when the situation turned physically violent.
Now, if you are unaware of Vito’s previous comments and this is the first time you have seen him, He has previously advocated for the removal of YouTube material, such as the Friday Night Tights episode starring Alex Jones, prior to this event. On the Nerdotic YouTube channel, Friday Night Tights features Jeremy of Geeks + Gamers, Ryan Kinel, and Quarter Black Garrett, among others.
A snapshot of a now-deleted tweet in which he tagged Team YouTube and asked whether the video might be taken down for violating the terms of service is seen below.
So it’s ironic that he would join a demonstration and support free speech after earlier asking for free speech to be removed off YouTube.
The irony of explicitly tagging Vito on Twitter was brought out by Rekieta Media, who has also featured on Friday Night Tights.
Seeing a LARPer in action is always entertaining. Because Netflix is a private company, @VitoGesualdi would completely support the cancellation of Dave Chappelle.
Vito is garbage whose legitimacy is based on the fact that he is being attacked by worse trash.

Rekieta Media, who has previously featured on Friday Night Tights, called out Vito on Twitter for his hypocrisy.
Vito does exactly what the Netflix gang does.

Furthermore, Rekieta had to correct him when he falsely claimed on Friday Night Tights that Alex Jones said: “I will continue to flag videos that suggest kid shooting victims are FBI actors and other crap of that kind.”
When you contacted the YouTube cops on Friday night tights and @Nerdrotics, Alex Jones didn’t say that. You essentially agree with the Netflix horde on every point.
You’re a phony and a heap of trash. https://t.co/mDZGgjjlNQ

When it comes to Vito and scandal, that’s not all. MrGirl stated in his film, “Cuties: An Uncomfortably Honest Review,” that he backed and defended him. “Children, especially little girls, are horny and want to express themselves.” Then he added, “They’re very sexy” in a moment when the ladies are “shaking their booties.”
What does this have to do with Vito? Well, as Ryan Kinel excellently demonstrated in his video on Cuties defenders, Vito’s support for MrGirl was screenshotted and he asked viewers to subscribe to his channel.
“I probably should’ve done it in a manner that didn’t make it seem like I supported the crazy s**t he said,” Vito stated, backtracking on his support for Mr Girl. “Great review,” says Vito in response to Mr Girls Cuties. “Stay the course, buddy.”
Not only that, but a Reddit member saw Vito stating this about Cuties and other young females.
NoahGetTheBoat’s Vito’s views on “Cuties”
“Don’t f***ing act like you’re not capable of being turned on by a 16-year-old. Cuties’ girls were clearly far younger than I’d want to confess to ever been turned on by.”
We must aim for a better knowledge of the whole narrative, not simply a snippet to share and move on, in today’s soundbite culture. If you do this, you may alter your mind about the whole story.
